Privacy Policy

Introduction
Design First ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile applications (collectively, the "Apps").
By using our Apps, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Information We Do Not Collect
We are committed to minimal data collection. Our Apps are designed with privacy as the highest priority. Specifically, we do NOT collect:
- Location data (GPS, Wi-Fi positioning, or any location tracking)
- Contact lists or address book information
- Device identifiers (IMEI, MAC addresses, or advertising identifiers)
- Health or fitness data
- Financial information (payment details, banking information)
- Social media account information
- Browser history or browsing habits
- Call logs or phone usage statistics
- Reading your photo library or existing media files
- Calendar or reminder data
- Biometric data (fingerprint, face recognition)
Some of our Apps do ask for a device capability — the camera, the microphone, motion sensors, Bluetooth, the local network, or permission to save a photo — because a specific feature you choose to use depends on it. See Device Permissions below for exactly what each one is used for and where that data goes.
Device Permissions
A few of our Apps request access to a device capability because a specific feature depends on it. iOS always asks for your permission first, and you can revoke any of these at any time in the iOS Settings app. If you decline, only that one feature is unavailable — the rest of the app continues to work.
Microphone
Some of our Apps request microphone access:
- Live voice chat. In an app with multiplayer voice chat, your audio is transmitted in real time to the other participants in your session while the session is active. It is not recorded, not stored, and not retained after the session ends.
- Sound-based gameplay. Some games listen for sounds such as clapping or blowing so you can play using sound. This audio is processed only to detect the sound as it happens; it is not recorded, stored, or transmitted.
- Voice input. Some Apps let you speak instead of type — for example, to draft a list of tasks. In this case the recording is sent to our server and on to a third-party transcription service to be converted to text. See Voice transcription and third-party AI services below, which explains exactly who receives it.
The microphone is only ever active while you are using the specific feature that requires it. We do not listen in the background.
Voice transcription and third-party AI services
This is the one place where content you provide leaves our systems, so we want to be specific about it.
When you use voice input to draft tasks, the audio you record is uploaded to our server and passed to OpenAI for speech-to-text transcription. The resulting text may then be passed to DeepSeek, or to Anthropic as a backup, to turn it into a structured draft plan that you review and edit before anything is saved. These providers process the data to return a result to us; the recording is not stored by us after it has been transcribed.
If you would rather no audio leave your device, simply don't use the voice feature — you can type tasks instead, and every other part of the app works normally.
Camera
One of our Apps uses the camera for augmented-reality gameplay — detecting the play space and other players during a game. The camera feed is processed live on your device and is never uploaded, recorded, or stored by us.
Saving Photos
One of our games can save a photo to your own photo library when you explicitly tap to save it. This is add-only permission: the App can add a picture you asked it to save, and cannot read, browse, or upload anything already in your library.
Bluetooth and Local Network
Some games find and connect to other players' devices nearby, over the local network or Bluetooth, so you can play together in the same room. These are used only to discover and connect to other players during a game. We do not use them to identify you, track your whereabouts, or build any profile.
Motion Sensors and Compass
Motion sensors are used for on-screen effects and gameplay — for example, background colors that shift subtly as you move the device, and compass heading for an in-game direction indicator. This data is used only to draw the screen in the moment. It is not recorded, stored, transmitted, or used as health or fitness data, and we do not request or read GPS location.
Notifications
Some of our Apps can send push notifications about your own content, such as changes to a shared board. Notifications are never used for advertising or marketing. You can turn them off at any time in the iOS Settings app.

We only collect the minimum information necessary for our Apps to function properly. This includes:
